LTJ BUKEM + MC CONRAD

New Zealand, welcome to the sound of progression sessions. LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad, perhaps the world’s finest DJ and MC Combination are here to take you on a journey deep in to the Good Looking sound.

Bukem and Conrad have been touring worldwide for years to packed out shows, blowing away every audience they encounter. 2006 sees Good Looking Records turn 13 and to celebrate this "Unlucky for Some" milestone the dynamic duo are back on the road.

The good looking label has brought forth some of the most influential and important releases in the history of DnB and launched the careers of some of its brightest stars. From the early 90’s classics such as "Music" and "Horizons" to MC Conrad’s "Golden Girl" which was one of the biggest tracks of 2005. The label has also diversified into the lounge and jazz-funk market, while keeping up the output of genre-defining Drum n Bass.

This pair’s skills were honed on the rave scene of the early nineties where they established themselves as the most in-demand pairing. Over the years, they have worked tirelessly to stay on top of the game. A Bukem set takes the audience on a ride through the diverse, deep and luscious Good Looking sound. His near-perfect skills as a DJ complemented by the sheer quality of the music he plays.

MC Conrad’s beautiful voice and soul-searching lyrics perfectly complement Bukem’s selections. His use of Ambient Microphones stationed around the venue to capture audience noise adds another element untapped by other MC’s in the game.

The "Progression Sessions" series of Mix CDs have found their way in to the collections of Music lovers the world over, their universal appeal mean they are as likely to be found in a Jazz lovers collection as that of a Drum n Bass head.
